Due to individual eye shape, certain conditions or impairments or the aftermath of surgery, some patients are considered to be “hard to fit” as contact lens wearers. This is where Scleral Lenses come in.
A method used to correct myopia (nearsightedness) or astigmatism by wearing rigid gas permeable contact lenses overnight. Corrective lenses are not needed during daytime hours.
